How much marketing content Do Your Creator for your blog, youtube, and/or social media channels?

Is it weekly? Monthly? Or like most course creators … none at all?

Creating content is critical in engaging with your audiences so they learn about you, your brand, your mission and get to know, like and trust you.

How am I supposed to keep up with all these different social platforms and spread this content without spending a bunch of time and a fortune?

Would you believe me if I told you that you can create ONE source of content – say a video – and repurpose that content in SEVEN different ways for the ENTIRE month?

Here is my complete 7-step Content Creation Blueprint

One – pick a topic. If you watched the previous video about ideal target market, then you will remember that you want to choose your topic based on your ideal target market’s pain points and challenges.

Two – create a long form video. This is where you would present the pain point and elaborate on it. Create a video that’s several minutes long. Make it short enough so it gets the message across but not too long so it’s too boring.

Three – strip out the audio from the long form video and create a podcast episode. Audio has been very popular lately because your audiences don’t have to engage with audio as much as with video. And you don’t have to have a podcast in order to create audio content. You can just use the audio content just as stand-alone as another piece of content.

Four – Create a blog post out of the video. Use a platform such as Rev.com which is $1 per minute to transcribe your video. Once you transcribe your video, then you’ll have the basis for your blog post. Just clean it up so it sounds more like a written piece vs a spoken piece.

Five – create snippets for social media out of that blog post. So take out a few sentences, a paragraph out of your blog post, and post it to social media platforms. You can create 10 pieces of content right there.

Six – create quote images out of your quotes. Have an attractive background and create an image with a quote. You can use a platform such as Canva.com to create these types of images in just a few minutes.

Seven – cut your long video into shorter 15-30 second pieces to post on Instagram. These are good teaser videos to engage with your audiences on Instagram Stories.

To stay organized, create a content calendar. Schedule everything for me ahead of time. So that way you’re not getting bogged down with creating content and then having to schedule and having to put the content out there.

This is my 7 Step Content Creation Blueprint for the entire month with just one source piece of content.

Content is critical, but it’s just one step towards selling your course.

In my next video, I am going to share with you how to position your digital course so the audiences who have engaged with your content are more likely to buy your course.
